Playing any 3

After over a year away, I decided to load up at the Party/Empire tables the other night. The main idea being to be able to do player to player transfers to award rake commissions for our Empire players. Since they awarded me a pending bonus even though I didn't use a bonus code, and I had $100 left after paying rebates, I set out to clear it. Who can turn down free $$ ??

Nothing has changed. The ante structure is still awful, with .25 for the .50/1 tables, where I began clearing my bonus. A 50% ante??? It's almost correct to play any three cards for the .25 forced bet, since by the time the other 7 call stations have tossed in their two bits, the pot odds will be roughly 15-1.

The players are still awful. Any 3 cards to start and inside straight draws are monster hands. At first you would think this would be profitable, but when you consider the odds they're getting for suckout hands, the fish are almost playing correctly.

Anyway...halfway through the bonus hands and practically dead even overall, I've decided to deposit a bit more so I can at least move up to 1/2. The ante is a quarter there as well, which is still high, but at least the call stations will be making a bigger mistake by playing any 3 cards.

I can't wait till Absolute's 1/2 and 2/4 tables are going 24-7. I love that place and have about $300 in bonus money I need to release.
