I'm guilty! Good thing I don't live in Michigan, eh? According to a Fox News story, some poor gent minding his own business and accessing the internet on a coffee shops Wi-Fi during his lunch break, faced felony charge for his crimes.
The coffee shop owner didn't care. They provide the connection free to attract customers there. Seems Barney Fife (Police Chief Andrew Milanowski) got the call that there might be someone stalking a barber shop owner in the same strip. Grabbing his bullet and gun, "Barn" discovered Sam Peterson II of Cedar Springs, MI., answering emails *gasp* in his car, outside the coffee shop.
Lord knows that these young folks who use these here internet tubes, especially nefarious access from a parked car, have gotta be up to no good. (How do they do these things anyway? No wires? Gotta be illegal!)
Needless to say, this situation has been nipped in the bud. Faced with felony charges, Peterson opted for a $400 fine and community service.
Let's just take a moment to honor Police Chief Andrew Milanowski and the Kent County Prosecutors Office for their dedication to protecting and serving.
Back to the tables...
Thoughts on Poker. Thoughts on Life. There are some definite similarities between the two!

Vacation
Spent the past week in Pigeon Forge / Gatlinburg, TN. It was nice to get away for awhile. I actually left my laptop here at the house, so my only connection to the "job" and poker was my cell phone.
One of the few downsides to being self employed is you could work all day, every day, stopping only to relieve the necessary things such as hunger and bowels, and actually enjoy it. It's almost as addictive as Ultima Online was back in our PvP glory days on the Atlantic Shard. At least as my life slips away with this, it's showing a profit. So needless to say, a vacation was in order according to my wife.
She was right.
It'll be wonderful if poker pays my bills for the rest of my life, I eventually own more classic cars than Leno, and get to rebuild the Freeman farm. I'll have a lot of regrets though, if I don't enjoy the trip. My kid is already spending his inheritance on diapers and Yo Baby. I better get my cut while I've got the chance!
Poker is fun. Blowing the earnings on Funnel Cakes and Helicopter rides is even "funner"...

Another Acorn!
Please, no one else read this and join me at PitBullPoker. I've now played 5 of these little guarantees, winning two and finishing 3rd in another. Awesome ROI. Seems except for the prop players running around, just about everyone on this site flat out stanks....yes, stank is worse than stink!
In other news, we're heading to Gatlinburg in the morning. I promised to leave my laptop at the house so as not to do any work or poker for a week. When are some of these poker rooms going to get a mobile phone client? I already know of a few gambling sites that let you piss away your phone bill on slots and roulette. Why not let some degenerates help pay my phone bill by donating some chips in mobile phone poker?
I digress. Here's hoping the withdrawal symptoms aren't too bad.
