Judgement Day for the Wireless Leechers

I'm guilty! Good thing I don't live in Michigan, eh? According to a Fox News story, some poor gent minding his own business and accessing the internet on a coffee shops Wi-Fi during his lunch break, faced felony charge for his crimes.

The coffee shop owner didn't care. They provide the connection free to attract customers there. Seems Barney Fife (Police Chief Andrew Milanowski) got the call that there might be someone stalking a barber shop owner in the same strip. Grabbing his bullet and gun, "Barn" discovered Sam Peterson II of Cedar Springs, MI., answering emails *gasp* in his car, outside the coffee shop.

Lord knows that these young folks who use these here internet tubes, especially nefarious access from a parked car, have gotta be up to no good. (How do they do these things anyway? No wires? Gotta be illegal!)

Needless to say, this situation has been nipped in the bud. Faced with felony charges, Peterson opted for a $400 fine and community service.

Let's just take a moment to honor Police Chief Andrew Milanowski and the Kent County Prosecutors Office for their dedication to protecting and serving.

Back to the tables...
